Terms of Service
Last updated: 27 October 2026
These terms are a clear starting point written for RentDesk24. Because they create legal obligations, have them reviewed by a lawyer in your jurisdiction before you rely on them.
1. About these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of RentDesk24, the website at rentdesk24.com and the application at app.rentdesk24.com (together, the “Service”). The Service is operated by [Operator legal name], [Street, city, Kosovo], [Business registration no.] (“we”, “us”).
By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service for a company, you confirm that you may accept these Terms on its behalf.
2. What RentDesk24 does — and doesn’t do
RentDesk24 helps landlords and property managers organise properties, tenants and leases, sends reminder emails about rent and lease dates, gives tenants a private page with their lease details, stores lease documents and lets owners track investment costs.
- We don’t handle money. Rent is paid directly between tenant and landlord. We are not a bank, payment service or escrow.
- We don’t give legal, tax or financial advice. Lease templates, reports and figures are tools for your own decisions. Rent income in reports is an estimate from lease terms, not a record of payments.
- Reminders are a help, not a guarantee. Emails can be delayed, filtered as spam or not delivered. You remain responsible for your payment deadlines and contractual notices.
3. Price
The Service is currently free of charge (“launch period”). We may introduce paid plans later. If we do, we will tell you by email at least 30 days before any charge applies, and you can choose not to continue, export your data or close your account. Nothing will be charged without your explicit agreement.
4. Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old and give accurate information.
- Keep your password secret and use “Keep me logged in” only on devices you control. Tell us at once at [email protected] if you suspect misuse.
- An account is for one person. Managers and administrators who create accounts for others must have that person’s agreement.
- You are responsible for activity in your account, including actions by people you give access to.
5. Your data and your responsibilities
You keep all rights to the content you add (property details, photos, tenant information, documents, costs). You give us the permission we need to store, process and display it to provide the Service to you and to the people you share it with.
When you add information about tenants or other people, you are responsible for having a lawful basis to do so and for informing them, as required by data-protection law. For this information we act on your behalf as described in section 6 of our Privacy Policy.
- Check that bank details, amounts and dates are correct. Your tenant relies on them.
- Upload only documents you are entitled to share, and only what is necessary (for example, cover numbers on an ID that you don’t need).
- Keep your own copies of important documents. The Service is not a legal archive.
6. Tenant pages and tenant uploads
Each active lease can have a private tenant page reachable by a long random link. Anyone who has the link can see that page, so share it only with your tenant. You can create a new link or switch the page off at any time. Tenants who upload files through the page confirm that they are entitled to share them and that the files contain no malicious content.
7. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the Service for anything unlawful, fraudulent or discriminatory, or to harass anyone;
- use reminders or tenant pages to send spam or misleading messages;
- upload malware or content you have no right to share;
- try to access accounts, data or systems that are not yours, test or bypass our security without written permission, or overload the Service;
- copy, scrape, resell or build a competing service from the Service.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available and your data safe, but we can’t promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may change, improve or remove features. If a change significantly reduces what you can do, we will tell you in advance where reasonably possible.
9. Our rights
The Service, its software, design, name and logo belong to us or our licensors. These Terms don’t give you any right to them beyond using the Service as intended.
10. Suspension and closing your account
You can close your account at any time by writing to [email protected]. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms, puts other users or the Service at risk, or where the law requires it. Where possible we will warn you first and give you the chance to export your data.
11. Liability
The Service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost rent or profit, missed deadlines, or for decisions you make based on reminders, reports or estimates. Our total liability for any claim relating to the free Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (during the launch period: zero), except where the law does not allow such a limit — for example for intent or gross negligence.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. For important changes we will notify you by email or in the application at least 15 days before they take effect. If you continue to use the Service afterwards, the new Terms apply.
13. Law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kosovo. Disputes go to the competent court in Prishtina, unless mandatory consumer law gives you the right to go to the courts where you live. We are happy to try to solve any issue informally first — write to us.
